    Terms and Conditions

    Social & Graze – Catering and Event Hire Services

    Effective Date: 20th April 2025

    Welcome to Social & Graze! These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of catering and event hire services offered by Social & Graze (referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”) to our clients (referred to as “you” or “your”).

    1. Bookings & Deposits

    All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed in writing.

    A $350 non-refundable booking fee deposit is required to secure your booking. No booking is confirmed until the full booking fee has been received. 

                                                            

    Final invoices will be issued 10 days prior to the event date.

    The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date.

    Last-minute bookings (within 10 days of the event) require full payment upfront.

    2. Cancellations & Refunds

    Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the event will receive a full refund on any payment paid (minus the non-refundable booking fee).

    Cancellations made 14–10 days prior will receive a 50% refund on any payments paid. (minus the non-refundable booking fee).

    Cancellations made less than 10 days before the event are non-refundable.

    In the event of a cancellation by Social & Graze (e.g. due to unforeseen circumstances), a full refund will be provided.


    3. Event Changes

    Any changes to the event details (e.g. guest count, dietary requirements) must be made at least 7 days prior to the event date

    We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability or pricing after this period.

    4. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

    While we take every precaution to cater to dietary requirements and food allergies, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

    All dietary requirements & Allergies must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the event date

    It is your responsibility to inform us of any dietary needs in writing at the time of booking.

    5. Event Hire Items

    All hire items remain the property of Social & Graze.

    You are responsible for the care of all items during the hire period.

    Damaged, lost, or unreturned items will incur a replacement or repair fee.

    All items must be returned clean and in original condition.

    6. Delivery & Setup

    Delivery and setup times will be arranged during the booking process.

    Additional fees may apply for early morning, late night, or remote location services.

    We require reasonable access to the venue, including parking and loading facilities.

    7. Liability

    Social & Graze accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to any person or property arising from the use of our services or hire items.

    You are responsible for ensuring a safe event environment.

    8. Photos & Marketing

    We may take photos of our setup and food for marketing purposes. Please let us know if you do not consent to this.

    9. Force Majeure

    We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemic-related disruptions, or supplier failure.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
